• Do you use a sanitary pad or tampon together with the menstruation bikini?

Menstrual swim underwear is designed to provide protection on its own during menstruation. There is no need to wear an additional sanitary pad or apply a tampon, but if you feel more comfortable you can use additional protection.

• Is the menstrual bikini expensive?

Menstrual swim underwear is very durable and long-lasting, so their purchase is definitely economical. They can serve us for 3–4 years without a decrease in absorbency. By following the manufacturer’s washing and drying guidelines this period can be up to 6 years (remember that the bikini can be used even longer, but its absorbency will decrease slightly - this process will not be noticeable to you).

No, the menstrual bikini does not leak, provided it is used and cared for properly. However, you should monitor your body and adjust the wearing time of the underwear to your needs, depending on the intensity of your period.

How to wash and care for menstrual bikini swimwear?

1. Wash before first use.
2. After use, we recommend rinsing and/or soaking before washing.
3. Can be hand-washed or machine-washed with the rest of the laundry or in a separate laundry bag (if you prefer).
4. If using a washing machine, wash at a temperature not higher than 40ºC.
5. For proper care, use neutral soaps. Do not use chlorine, bleach, fabric softeners, natural oils or Marseille soap, as they may affect absorbency.
6. Do not use a tumble dryer, as it may reduce absorbency.
