• Is it worth buying menstrual underwear?

Among women who switched from pads, tampons or cups to menstrual underwear, opinions are very positive. Most agree that Masmi underwear passes the test even on the first days of heavy period. Changing a pad or tampon needs to be done every 3-4 hours depending on period intensity – M menstrual underwear only needs to be changed twice a day. We recommend purchasing 2 pairs of underwear – one you wear, the other waiting clean for a change, but if you want to be sure that a clean, washed pair will always be waiting for you on those days, you can get even more pairs. Optimal amount is 3 pcs.

• Do you use pads or tampons at the same time with menstrual underwear?

Menstrual underwear are designed to provide protection on their own during menstruation. There is no need to wear an additional pad, but if you feel more comfortable with a pad, you can use it identically as with normal underwear. You can also wear the underwear for extra protection during menstruation when using a tampon or menstrual cup.

• Are menstrual underwear expensive?

Menstrual underwear are very durable and long-lasting, so their purchase is definitely economical. One pair can serve us for 3 – 4 years without a drop in absorption. How to wash and care for the products?

1. Wash before first use.
2. After use, we recommend rinsing and/or soaking before washing.
3. You can wash by hand or in a washing machine with the rest of the laundry or in a separate laundry bag (if you prefer).
4. If using a washing machine, wash at a temperature not exceeding 40º.
5. For proper care, use neutral soaps. Do not use chlorine, bleaches, fabric softeners, natural oils or Marseille soap, as they may affect absorbency.
6. Do not use a tumble dryer, as it may reduce absorbency.
