• Is it worth buying menstrual underwear?

Among women who swapped pads, tampons or cups for menstrual underwear, opinions are very positive. Most admit that Masmi underwear performs well even during the first days of a heavy period. Pad or tampon change should be done every 3-4 hours depending on period intensity. Menstrual underwear need to be changed only 2 times a day. We recommend buying 2 pairs. In one we walk, the other is ready clean for change, but if you want to be sure that on these days there will always be a washed and clean pair waiting, you can purchase even more pairs. The optimal amount is 3 pieces.

• Do you wear a pad or tampon at the same time with menstrual underwear?

Menstrual underwear are designed to provide protection on their own during menstruation. There is no need to wear an additional pad, but if you feel you will be more comfortable with a pad, you can wear it just like in normal underwear. You can also wear the underwear for extra protection during menstruation when you use a tampon or menstrual cup.

• Are menstrual underwear expensive?

Menstrual underwear are very efficient and durable, so their purchase is definitely economical. One pair can serve us 3 - 4 years without loss of absorbency. If you follow the manufacturer’s washing and drying instructions, this period can extend to even 6 years (remember that underwear can serve even longer, but their absorbency will decrease slightly – this process will not be noticeable to you). How to wash and care for the products?

1. Wash before first use.
2. After use, we recommend rinsing and/or soaking before washing.
3. Can be hand-washed or machine-washed with the rest of the laundry or in a separate washing bag (if you prefer).
4. When using a washing machine, wash at a temperature not higher than 40º.
5. For proper care, it is recommended to use neutral soaps. Do not use chlorine, bleaches, fabric softeners, natural oils or Marseille soap, as they may affect absorbency.
6. Do not use a dryer, as it may reduce absorbency.
